The Monster Hook performs the function of a tool holster with improved capabilities and ease of use; it costs less too.  The product is comprised of a large hook coupled to a molded housing that clips to a belt. The hook itself rotates side to side, through 180°. This allows it to achieve a good balance point regardless of what tool a user is carrying and to maintain its balance point while the user is climbing or bending. Monster Hook's diameter is large enough to fit just about any power tool handle including cordless drills, cordless circular saws pneumatic nail guns.

WorkTools created the mechanical and ornamental design, wrote and filed patents and assisted in sourcing manufacturing.  The Monster Hook was initially licensed to McGuire Nicholas.  A refined design is now licensed to  IDL Tools, a manufacturer and distributor of innovative hand tools.
